As part of marking the 2021 International Day of Radiology, the AMG Foundation has launched its annual award “The Most Outstanding Resident Doctor in Radiology Department of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital”.
The award is in memory and to celebrate the life of Late Dr Shehi Ali Abubakar a former Nigerian Medical Association Chair Kano State Chapter and former National Association of Resident Doctors Chair Kano State Chapter. The 2021 annual award was on 10th November 2021 giving to Dr Nasir Abubakar B, a senior registrar of the Radiology Department of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital. It came with a certificate and a cash prize. AMG Foundation, Late Dr Shehi’s friends and family remain eternally grateful for his life and continue to pray for his eternal rest in Paradise.
